I was amazed that it could spot me anywhere without wi-fi! (I own an Ipod touch4). Very useful!
I would like a step by step map though, instead of written directions on a different screen...
I dont know why everyone gives it such a bad rating. Its easy to use and gives great directions. Also it can almost find my exact current location on the itouch 4th gen. It could have a few more features but its a free app so im fine with it.
Living in a city known for its biking culture, I have found this app to be pretty handy. When I contacted the developer and made a suggestion, he responded with a useful email within a few days. Keep up the great work!
Really helpful app - shows color-coded bike lanes and routes, and maps out great directions (that you can save!) along bike-friendly paths.
Some bad moments
I tried the app yesterday in SF and it sent me to a tunnel for cars ... Not bike friendly at all :-/
You cant find directions till u put points on the map. But when u type in an address it says "Pleae be more specific." So it cant recognize addresses or spell? Only good thing is that it had the potential for people to submit big hill points on Map. But no one had.
Wow!! I have my location services turned on and after using the locate me button, the app centers itself on Portland. Gees, only 1200 KMs off from my actual location.
I would trust this app since it has terrible accuracy.
FAIL!! Is there a -10 rating here somewhere? There should be.
This is the worst app ever! I live in Canada we use the metric system as does all of Europe and most of the world, I need to know how many kilometers to get somewhere not how many miles. Plus the app almost doubled the distance to my destination since it doesnt seem to know there are cycle/pedestrian bridges in my city. I would give this zero stars if I could.
In the description it does not say that the app is not worldwide. I am in Italy and no European country is available. If an app is not for everybody the description must include detailed information. I cancel the app.
This app is just Google Maps, but with no route alternatives. Downloaded this to get alternate routes and safety information. It literally gave me the main route Google gave me and nothing else. Doesnt recognize my destination, which is a university. Terrible app. Avoid.
